Church LMS · cohort-based training

A learning platform for classes that start together.

TareForm is a learning management system for churches, ministries and Bible schools that teach in groups: sign-ups, your own lessons, live classes, attendance, marking and grades, in one place.

Cohort-based, in plain words

Everyone starts on the same day, and finishes together.

That is how most discipleship classes, new members courses, leadership programmes and Bible schools already run. Most course platforms are built for one person learning alone. TareForm is built for the group.

How it differs

Built for cohorts, not for selling courses.

Who it is built for
TareForm: Groups who start, learn and finish together
Typical course platform: Individuals working alone, at any time
Who joins

Written work
TareForm: Teachers read, mark and comment; you choose when grades are shared
Typical course platform: Often automatic quizzes only
Your material
TareForm: Your own notes, imported word for word
Typical course platform: Varies; often built around selling courses

Enrolment

Approve who joins each cohort.

People apply on your own page. You review each one and place them in the right group. Nothing opens for them until you approve.

Live classes

Teach live, with attendance built in.

Each cohort meets inside TareForm. Attendance is taken as people join, and you can record a class for anyone who missed it.

Assessment

Quizzes mark themselves. Teachers mark the rest.

Multiple-choice questions are marked automatically. Teachers read written answers, add marks and feedback, and decide when grades are shared.

Questions

Questions about TareForm as a church LMS.

Is TareForm a learning management system (LMS)?

Yes, built for churches, ministries and Bible schools. It runs sign-ups, lessons, live classes, attendance, quizzes, marking and grades in one place, for classes that start and finish together.

What does cohort-based mean?

A cohort is a group of people who begin on the same day, work through the same lessons together and finish together, like a discipleship class, a new members course or a year at Bible school.

Can people go entirely at their own pace?

TareForm is built for groups that move together. If your teaching is entirely self-paced with no shared start or live classes, a general course platform will probably suit you better, and we will say so.

Does it connect to our church management system?

Not yet. TareForm runs alongside the system you use for your church directory and giving, and holds the classes, lessons, attendance and grades itself.

Can we sell courses or take payments?

No. TareForm runs your own classes for your church or school. It does not sell courses or collect payments from students today.
